Our program operates within two dedicated dance spaces and we offer a simple, designated waiting area for parents who wish to remain onsite.
From Ms. Candice
When I began building this studio, I was recreating a feeling. The kind of space I grew up in, where discipline and joy lived side by side, where technique was taken seriously, and where every dancer felt safe and encouraged to grow. Inertia Performing Arts is not just a place to take dance classes. it's a space rooted in care and intention. Dancers are trained with purpose and are challenged, corrected, and guided with the kind of structure that builds real skill, while still being nurtured in an environment that feels like family. Because while strong technique matters (and it does) what matters just as much is who they become in the process: confident, disciplined, and resilient.
This is a children’s dance community that holds a professional standard with a warm, family centered heart. A place where we plant roots and give them the space to grow, move, and fly.
Fun Facts about IPA
IPA’s business plan was laid out by Ms. Candice at 16 years old and she opened the doors at 17.
Inertia Performing Arts began as a broad focused studio teaching many techniques, but quickly realized Modern Technique and Hip Hop/Jazz is the heart of the studio.
Every Spring Concert has included a song from either Beyonce or Michael Jackson until 2018.. gasp
Our annual Moms Dance is a crowd pleaser year after year
(Nail) Polish Parties are a huge favorite for our girls. Dancers love receiving manicures from their teachers!
Our Mini Movers follow a fun filled Fairytale Curriculum with monthly story based themes.
